Marble Range Football Club Receives SANFL Facilities Fund Grant

As reported in the Sunday Mail on 14 April, 2026, Marble Range Football Club has been successful in receiving a Round 3 SANFL Facilities Fund Grant to the tune of $75,000.  This grant will go towards the upgrade of player and umpire changerooms and amenities at Wangary Oval to bring the facilities up to SANFL Women’s Football standards.  The total cost of the project is set to be around $175,000 with work continuing in conjunction with the Marble Range Community and Sports Centre, to secure the remainder of the funds so that work can commence upon the completion of the 2026 Port Lincoln Football League season.  Club Vice President, Paul Bahr, and Club Committee Member, Michelle Bahr, attended Adelaide Oval on Sunday 14 April, to receive the grant, along with 32 other football clubs from around South Australia.  In total nearly $3.2 million worth of grants were handed out at a special function prior to the Gather Round finale, Port Adelaide vs St Kilda.

Congratulations also to Mallee Park Football Club who also received a grant at this function.
