Grand Final Victories for Marble Range

2026 will go down as a stellar year for the Marble Range Football Club after Grand Final victories in both the league and reserves competition.

In front of a huge crowd at Centenary Oval the Magpies prevailed in two very high quality contests.

In the Reserves Grand Final, Marble Range managed to fight back against a fast-starting Mallee Park to win by 7 points (59 to 52).

In the 'Big Dance' it wasn't until late in the last quarter that the Magpies were able to assert some ascendency over their recent nemeses Lincoln South and record a 14 point victory (63 to 49). Marble Range skipper, Daniel Minney, singled out the support from the crowd as a major factor in the Maggies lifting in the last term to kick ahead. A result was not certain until the final siren.

One thing that is certain is that there will be some very sore heads at Wangary come Sunday morning.
