As a community-based sporting organisation, priding itself on being family orientated, the Marble Range Football Club takes seriously its obligations regarding the safety of young and vulnerable people who take part in Club activities. The Management Committee has endorsed the SANFL’s Safeguarding Children and Young People Club Procedure and is committed to implementing that procedure throughout the Club.
The Club has appointed a Child Safe Officer who can be contacted via our webpage and the Club has registered with the Department of Communities and Social Inclusion (DCSI) to ensure all our volunteers hold the appropriate Working With Children Checks (WWCC).
If you would like to volunteer to assist within the Club we do ask that you complete a WWCC (which is a legal requirement) and forward a copy to our Child Safe Officer. Alternatively, the Club can complete the WWCC application on your behalf direct to the DCSI Portal. There is no cost for a volunteer to complete this process. Details of the Working With Children Check process can be found here (Link SA.GOV.AU - Working with Children Checks)
We want all who interact with Marble Range Football Club to have fun in a safe, welcoming and friendly environment and the Club looks forward to fostering the football talent of young boys and girls to help them reach their full potential.

A little reminder for all of our Rangers families from Marble Range FC and Wanilla NC.
Every child deserves to feel safe, included and welcome within our club environment. We're asking parents and caregivers to take a few minutes to chat with your kids about positive behaviour and looking out for one another:
We know our club environment are busy places, with parents often playing, coaching, umpiring, volunteering or helping out elsewhere. We don't expect anyone to have eyes on their kids every second, but we do ask everyone to remain mindful of where your children are, what they're doing and who they're with, particularly our younger kids.
Regular check-ins and appropriate supervision are important, even within enclosed playground areas. And where we can, let's all keep an eye out for each other's kids as well as our own.
It takes all of us to keep our club safe, positive and welcoming place for our little Rangers.
Be kind. Look out for each other. Speak up.
